It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Who needs Christmas when you have the fall we’ve been having out here in D.C.? (Just kidding, love me some Christmastime too!)

I mean, can we talk about how pretty and vibrant the colors have been this year? I’m smitten. That’s why I thought I’d post a few photos I snapped both in my neighborhood in Arlington, and Georgetown yesterday to share with all of you. Have a look…

Fall in Arlington 2

All I had to do for this photo was walk right out my front door. If I wasn’t such a baby about the cold weather, I might still be out there.

Fall in Arlington 1^^I might have stopped mid-drive down our street to grab this one. Don’t worry, there were no other cars and I came to a complete stop.^^

Fall in Georgetown 4^^And then there’s Georgetown. It’s already pretty, but toss in the fall colors, and you’re set^^

Fall in Georgetown 3

Fall in Georgetown 2Now the only real problem (depending on how you look at it) with this season is it makes we want to throw on some leggings and a sweatshirt, curl up on the couch with a glass of red wine (I guess that part applies to all seasons :)) and basically not move until Spring. However, my current state is not conducive to our long list of of home projects that are just calling our names. Send help!

I’m sorta kidding. We did a little DIY project last weekend and as soon as it’s finished I’ll share it with all of you. I think it’s going to spice things up. (hint, hint ;))
